Christine & The queens est une personne assez intrigante. Ses compositions sont très douces, elle change tantôt en français, tantôt en anglais et son timbre est appaisante. On ne pense pas tout de suite à Mickaël Jackson auprès de qui elle tire grande inspiration, sauf quand on regarde son clip Saint Claude (ci-dessous). L’univers qu’elle crée ne s’arrête pas à la musique. Son ambition est de mêler musique, au dessin, à la photographie et à la “performance” (c’est-à-dire au show, à mon avis).
Son premier album Chaleur humaine est sorti le 2 juin 2014 et elle a déjà fait la première partie d’artistes comme Stromae, The dø, Lilly Wood and the Prick, Woodkid ou Lykke Li.

Christine & The queens is a rather intriguing person. Her composures are very soft, she switches from French to English and her voice is calming. One wouldn’t immediately think of Mickaël Jackson being a great of inspiration to her, until you watch the clip Saint Claude (here under). The atmosphere she creates is not only based on music. Her ambition is to blend music to drawing, photography and performance.
