En balade à Paris pour finir de meubler mon nouveau studio, je suis allée déjeuner à L’Epicerie Verte. Là, j’ai découvert des petits biscuits dont le packaging a tout de suite attiré mon attention. Dès que j’ai vu qu’ils étaient sans gluten, j’en ai attrapé 2 paquets.

La marque Generous est une petite nouveauté dans les rayons sans gluten français, belges et suisses. “Deux couples de trentenaires ont utilisés leurs compétences complémentaires (littéraires, graphiques, commerciales et pâtissières) pour apporter un coup de fraîcheur au secteur du sans gluten”. (Psychologies Magazine, Juin 2013) “Generous” est à la fois la conjonction de leurs 2 noms de famille et le symbole des produits qualitatifs avec lesquels ils travaillent dans leur atelier à Bruxelles. Et oui, ils sont certifiés bio !

Le packaging est assez simple avec un côté ludique des personnages un peu rétro, chacun associé à son biscuit. J’ai goûté les Céline Citron ainsi que les Sylvain Speculoos. Si les premiers étaient légèrement moins convaincants, les speculoos avaient vraiment un bon goût d’épices de Noël et feront partie de mes goûters ou petits-déjeuners à venir !

While walking around the streets of Paris to finish furnishing my studio, I went to L’Epicerie Verte to have lunch. There, I found those small biscuits and the packaging immediately caught my attention. As soon as I saw they were gluten free, I fetched 2 packets.

The Generous brand is a little novelty on French, Belgian and Swiss gluten free shelves. “Two couples in their thirties have used their complementary skills (literary, graphical, commercial et baking) to bring a breath of fresh air to the gluten free sector”. (Psychologies Magazine, June 2013) “Generous” is both the conjunction of their 2 names and the symbol of the qualitative products they work with in their atelier in Brussels. And yes they are certified organic!The packaging is quite simple with fun and retro characters, each one associated to a biscuit. I tried the Céline Citron (lemon taste) and the Sylvain Speculoos. If the first ones were slightly less convincing, the speculoos really tasted of christmas spices and will surely be part of my future tea times and breakfasts!
