Je vous ai déjà raconté mon expérience sans gluten à Stockholm il y a 2 ans ? J’y suis allée pour un weekend avec des amis et j’ai découvert que non seulement les gens savent ce que « sans gluten » signifie, mais en plus ils sont une large offre de produits sans gluten un peu partout. Même chez… Burger King.
Alors oubliez tout de l’alimentation healthy un moment et imaginez. Pas de burger depuis des années, vous êtes sorti en ville vous amusez, dansez. En partant de la boîte, vous avez super faim et voulez juste manger. Burger King est au bout de la rue et le moment est arrivé pour vérifier cette rumeur qui court sur les blogs sans gluten comme quoi Burger King vend des burgers sans gluten.
En marchant vers le comptoir de BK, je sens que ça va être un grand moment. Je demande quel est le burger sans gluten et il s’avère que je peux juste choisir n’importe quel burger. Ils remplaceront le bun par un pain sans gluten. OMG. « N’IMPORTE QUEL BURGER QUI VOUS FERAIT PLAISIR. »
Et Burger King n’est qu’un exemple. Beaucoup de cafés comme Wayne’s Coffee ont des options sans gluten (ohlala ce cookie) et les supermarchés ont des assortiments au top.

Did I ever tell you about my gluten free experience in Stockholm 2 years ago? I went there to spend the weekend with some friends and discovered that not only do people know what « gluten free » means, they actually have a large range of gluten free options a bit everywhere. Even, at… Burger King.
Now forget everything about being healthy for a moment and picture this. Haven’t had a burger for years, you’re out dancing and having fun. Leaving the club, you are starving and simply want some food. Burger King is on the corner and this is the moment to get a closer look at this myth that’s running around gluten free blogs about Burger King selling gluten free burgers.
As I walk towards the counter, I can feel this is gonna be a big moment. I ask which one is the gluten free burger and it turns out that I can just pick whichever burger I’d like to have. They’ll use the gluten free bun instead. OMG. « WHICHEVER BURGER YOU’D LIKE. »
And Burger King is just one example. Many cafés like Wayne’s coffee have gluten free options (oh gee that cookie) and supermarkets have a great assortment of products.
