Ce weekend, mon iPhone et moi étions chez Alain Ducasse et sa nouvelle fabrique de chocolat du 12ème arrondissement de Paris. Je n’avais même pas connaissance de la boutique, mais heureusement j’ai mon guide privé qui habite le quartier ;) Cet ancien garage a été rénové avec très bon goût. C’est maintenant une « factory » canon avec pierres apparentes, des grosses lampes d’architecte pendantes et une baie vitrée qui donne sur l’atelier où se fait la fabrication même des chocolats. On voit le travail des artisans et on goûte le résultat : en l’occurrence j’ai goûté une petite cloche. C’était délicieux. Un praliné à la noix de coco avec un enrobage chocolat au lait. Exquis.
Que pensez-vous du packaging ? Moi j’adore ! Papier kraft et ambiance très artisanale, c’est canon. Mon préféré est celui sur le 2ème Instagram, même si l’on ne voit pas le chocolat en question, même pas en photo… qu’en pensez-vous ?

This weekend, my iPhone and I went to see Alain Ducasse’s new chocolate factory in the 12th arrondissement of Paris (he’s a famous French pastry chef). I didn’t even know the existence of the shop, but luckily I have my own private guide who lives in the neighborhood ;) This old garage has been renovated with really good taste. It’s an amazing factory-style shop with big stone walls, large architect lamps and a bay window through which you can see the « atelier » where they make the chocolate. You can see the craftsmen’s work and you can taste the result: in this case a little chocolate bell. It was delicious. A coconut praliné with milk chocolate cover. Exquisite.
What do you think of the packaging? As far as I am concerned, I am loving it! Kraft paper and very handmade atmosphere, it’s great. My favorite is the one on the 2nd instagram above, even though you can’t see the chocolate in question, not even a picture… what do you think of that?
