Lykke Li (qui signifie « joyeux(se) » en scandinave) est une chanteuse suédoise de 25 ans… Pas mal d’avoir déjà sorti 2 albums à succès international à cet âge ! Avec 2 parents artistes (le père photographe et la mère musicienne) et des mois/ années vécues à l’étranger (Portugal, Maroc, Inde et USA), ça aide un peu.
La suédoise avait déjà pris place dans ma bibliothèque musicale grâce à sa chanson « Dance Dance Dance » de son premier album « Youth Novels ». Je me rappelle des affiches partout dans Copenhague il y a un an pour la sortie de son nouvel album, « Wounded Rhymes », élu meilleur album de l’année au Swedish Grammy Awards 2012. « I follow Rivers » en est extrait. Je vous ai mis la version « The Magician Remix » qui bouge un peu plus que l’original, j’aime bien.

Lykke Li (which means « happy » in scandinavian) is a 25-year-old Swedish singer… Having released 2 albums with international success at that age is really not bad! With 2 parents in the artistic field (her dad is a photographer and her mom is a musician) and some months/ years abroad (Portugal, Morocco, India & the US), it helps a little.
The Swedish singer had already taken place into my music library thanks to her song « Dance Dance Dance » from her first album ‘Youth Novels’. I remember all the posters of her everywhere in Copenhagen one year ago for the release of her new album, « Wouded Rhymes », voted Best Album at the Swedish Grammy Awards 2012. « I follow Rivers » is from that album. I chose the « The Magician Remix » version which is a bit more dynamic than the original, I like it.
